RankSage reads from
Read-only OAuth · connected today

Google Analytics 4, joined at the page.

RankSage reads your GA4 property over read-only OAuth and puts each page's sessions, engagement and channel performance beside that page's Search Console queries, content score, visitor behaviour and AI citations. It is one of the two connections that matter on day one.

How RankSage works

What Google Analytics 4 gives RankSage

  • Sessions, engagement, channel and landing-page performance per page.
  • The AI-referral traffic GA4 files under referral — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and the rest — separated out per page.
  • The direct-traffic baseline that dark-traffic attribution estimates AI-referred visits against, with the calibration controls visible.
  • The traffic side of the ranked action queue: a page that ranks, reads thin and loses visitors is scored on all three at once.

How to connect

  1. 1

    Sign in with Google

RankSage asks for the read-only analytics scope and nothing else. It never writes to your property.

  2. 2

    Choose the property

One property per site. The first sync starts immediately and the calendar fills in as history is read.

  3. 3

    Let the join run

Every page in the crawl gets its traffic row. Nothing to install on your site for this step.

What it does not do

  • Read-only, always. RankSage cannot change a setting, a filter or an event in GA4.
  • History is what GA4 returns for the property; a new property has little to join until traffic accumulates.
  • Disconnecting removes the cached copy of that source's data from RankSage.

Questions

Does RankSage replace Google Analytics?

No. It reads GA4 and puts that data next to signals GA4 does not have — rankings, content quality, visitor frustration and AI citations — on one row per page. GA4 stays your system of record for traffic.

Which permission does it ask for?

The read-only Google Analytics scope. RankSage never requests edit access, and disconnecting revokes the grant.

Can I see AI referral traffic separately?

Yes. Referrals from AI assistants that GA4 files under referral are broken out per page, and visits that arrive with no referrer are estimated separately with visible calibration.

Start with the two that matter.

Google Analytics and Search Console, read-only, about five minutes. Add Google Analytics 4 whenever it earns its place.
