When an AI Overview appears, first-position click-through can fall by as much as 61%. See which of your pages are exposed.

Content & Signals

Good rankings still lose people.

A lightweight script of your own records what visitors actually do — rage clicks, dead clicks, abandoned forms, errors — and RankSage puts that beside each page's content score.

The problem

Analytics tells you a page has a high bounce rate. It cannot tell you whether people left because the writing was thin or because a button did nothing, and those need opposite fixes.

How it works

What it measures, what comes out, and why the number can be trusted.

  1. 01

Your own script, your own domain

Around 5KB, no dependencies, encrypted before it leaves the browser, and served from your domain rather than a third party's. It runs alongside your existing analytics rather than replacing it.

  2. 02

    Every event, never sampled

Rare events are where failures hide. Sampling is how a tool misses the one session that would have told you what was broken, so nothing here is sampled.

  3. 03

    The overlap is the insight

A page where visitors visibly struggle and the content scores badly is a different problem from a page that is merely unpopular. That intersection is the report.

  4. 04

    Down to the cause

Where failing requests are producing the frustration, RankSage connects them — turning “the site feels broken” into a named endpoint on a named page.

What it does not do

  • It needs a snippet on your server or edge, or the WordPress plugin. There is no one-line third-party tag, by design.
  • It records behaviour, not identity. There are no session replays of individual people.
  • History depth is set by plan, from a week on Free to just over two years on Pro.

Questions

How do I find pages where visitors are struggling?

RankSage records rage clicks, dead clicks, abandoned forms and errors per page and shows them beside that page's content score. Where both signals point at one URL, you have a priority.

Does this replace Google Analytics?

No. It runs alongside it. GA4 stays your traffic source of record; this adds the behavioural layer GA4 does not capture and joins it to content quality.

Is it GDPR-friendly?

It records behaviour rather than identity, respects opt-out signals, and works with consent managers. Data is encrypted before it leaves the browser.
