The same brief, written into Notion.

RankSage writes the digest the Obsidian plugin injects — visitors and their change, AI visibility and the engines citing you, tracked-keyword movement, the site's Lighthouse composite score and up to three alerts — as a dated child page under a Notion page you pick, on the cadence you choose. The connector is built and env-gated: it turns on once the Notion workspace app is registered, and the integrations catalogue lists it as in progress until then.

How RankSage works

What Notion gives RankSage

  • A dated child page per run, under the page you shared with the integration — daily, weekly or monthly.
  • Per site: visitors with their change, the AI visibility score and which engines cited the brand, tracked-keyword movement with the top mover, the Lighthouse composite score, up to three alerts, and a link back to the dashboard.
  • A “Write now” button, for when you want the page before the next scheduled run.
  • Every number carries a null or “could not measure” state — a metric that could not be read is never written as a zero.

How to connect

  1. 1

    Connect

OAuth consent inside Notion. You choose the workspace; RankSage never sees one you did not grant.

  2. 2

Share a page with the integration

In Notion, open the page you want the briefs under and use ··· → Connections → RankSage. Notion only exposes pages you share this way.

  3. 3

    Pick the page and cadence

Choose that page in RankSage and set daily, weekly or monthly. The first brief can be written immediately with “Write now”.

What it does not do

  • Write-only in one direction: RankSage creates a new dated child page each run and never edits, moves or deletes anything already in the workspace.
  • Nothing is read out of Notion except the list of pages you shared with the integration, so the picker can list them. Notion's model is share-first — an integration cannot reach a page you have not connected it to.
  • No databases, no templates, no two-way sync and no comments — a page of text under a page you chose is the whole surface.
  • Access tokens are encrypted at rest; disconnecting removes the token.
  • Disconnecting removes the cached copy of that source's data from RankSage.

Questions

Can I connect it today?

Not yet. The connector is built and env-gated, waiting on the Notion workspace app being registered; until that lands the integrations catalogue lists Notion as in progress rather than connected. The rest of this page describes what it does once it is on.

Does it write into my existing pages?

No. Each run creates a new child page, dated, under the page you picked. Existing content is never edited or replaced.

Which plan includes it?

The digest is available on Growth and above — the same capability the Obsidian plugin uses.

Can I stop it?

Disconnect at any time. The token is removed, the schedule stops, and the pages already written stay in your workspace as ordinary Notion pages.

Start with the two that matter.

Google Analytics and Search Console, read-only, about five minutes. Add Notion whenever it earns its place.
