When an AI Overview appears, first-position click-through can fall by as much as 61%. See which of your pages are exposed.

Can an agent read you at all?

The files AI agents now look for, the rules that decide which crawlers get in, and whether your structured data actually resolves you as one consistent entity across every page.

All features

The problem

You can do everything right on the page and still be invisible, because a rule three lines into robots.txt blocks the crawler, or your Organization markup describes three different companies.

Agent Readiness, explained in about a minute

How it works

What it measures, what comes out, and why the number can be trusted.

  1. 01

Which crawlers your rules actually allow

robots.txt is easy to get subtly wrong. RankSage evaluates your rules against each AI crawler individually and tells you which are permitted, which are blocked, and which are blocked by accident.

  2. 02

    The files agents look for

llms.txt, agents.md and the agentic sitemap. Each is reported present, absent, or could-not-be-checked — a failed fetch is never quietly rendered as missing.

  3. 03

    One brand, one entity

Your structured data is validated and every page's brand markup is compared against a single canonical record, so name, logo and profile drift shows up as a fixable list.

  4. 04

    Indexed, or only technically fine

Technical blockers are reported with certainty. Pages that pass every check and still are not indexed are kept separate, with the risk factors named rather than guessed at.

  5. 05

    Fixes that match your platform

The same missing file has a different fix on a hosted store, on WordPress, and on a custom build. The guidance matches what you actually run.

What it does not do

  • Nobody outside Google can state why a specific page is not indexed. RankSage separates what it knows from what it is inferring, and labels both.
  • It audits your own verified domains only.
  • Publishing the files is on you. RankSage tells you what is missing and, on WordPress, can put it there.

Questions

Do I need an llms.txt file?

It costs almost nothing to publish and some AI clients look for it. RankSage checks whether yours exists, whether it is a real file rather than an app shell returning 200, and what it should contain.

How do I check if AI crawlers are blocked?

RankSage evaluates your robots.txt against each AI crawler individually, including the stacked-rule cases that are easy to misread, and reports which are allowed and which are blocked.

Why isn't my page indexed?

Sometimes there is a definite technical blocker, which RankSage states with certainty. Otherwise it names the risk factors it can measure and is explicit that the rest is inference.
